July is coming in HOT! We’re adding dozens of new aftermarket parts, reviewing our June salvage haul, and making our parts easier for you to find than ever. We’re also celebrating the 4th of July and a full year of Monthly Newsletters. Come see what else is cooking in this Summer heat!

We have been stacking up backhoes this late Spring and early Summer. Along with a Massey Ferguson 135 tractor, we added another Ford 555D 2wd backhoe, a CAT 416 2wd backhoe, and a Case 580E backhoe. Click on the collage above to see an archive of ALL of our salvage machines.

We “only” added one machine a week last month, so we decided to add some new Aftermarket parts for Case backhoes and dozers. Click on any of the three images below to follow the link to the corresponding parts categories.

Last, but certainly not least, we will be closed in celebration of our Independence Day on Tuesday July 4th. WE WILL BE OPEN on Monday July 3rd, and Wednesday through Friday for normal business hours. We wsh you all a happy and safe 4th of July!

I’ve seen the calendar flip from April to May for the 11th time, this year, making it 10 years since i set foot inside Gulf South Equipment Sales. The yard is bigger, the staff is bigger, our inventory has grown with it, and the future is just as bright now as it was on my first day. Even taking into account all of the changes between 2013 and 2023, just as important is what has remained the same. Our commitment to quality parts and service, and culture of under-promising and over-delivering remains the same as it was since we first opened our doors.

Last month, we also got some new aerial images of the yard. More importantly, we added four machines:

– Caterpillar D6R Dozer

– John Deere 570A Motor Grader

– New Holland LB75 Backhoe

– Ford 555 Backhoe

It seems like every ton of steel coming in was matched by pallets and trailer loads of parts going out:

April Was a BUSY One on the Yard

If you’re following us on Facebook, I know that you’ve seen me warning: “These Parts WILL NOT Last Long.” I do not like to exaggerate, and our sales crew backed me up! Among hundreds of other orders, we had a few stand out: Ford 555 Backhoe Fuel Tanks are especially rare in good, original condition and we sold a gem. A Kubota M7040 Loaded Clutch Housing, and a Ford LB75 Rear Axle made the list. Most impressive was an order for Case 586G Forklift Parts: Loaded Cab with Fenders, Front Axle, and Complete Mast Assembly headed out last week!

DECEMBER 2022 NEWSLETTER

2022 is Coming to a Close, but Not Without Some Changes Ahead of the New Year.

As I mentioned in the subject line of the email that may have brought you to this newsletter, this is not another Black Friday, Small Saturday, Cyber, Giving, Throwback Thursday, or Taco Tuesday e-Mail. You’ve received and deleted enough of those in the past couple of weeks to last you a lifetime. However, in this final edition of 2022, I will share some advice that can save you some real money in 2023.

Once Again We Are Blessed to Have Outlived Another Logo!

We will be welcoming 2023 with a new look and some planned changes to our website and social media, but we are still locally owned and operated by the Carpenter family and our core values remain unchanged. Of course, we will be adding new products and new ways to serve our customers, but our commitment to treating every single customer the way that we would like to be treated remains unchanged, and will as long as we do business.
