I’ve seen the calendar flip from April to May for the 11th time, this year, making it 10 years since i set foot inside Gulf South Equipment Sales. The yard is bigger, the staff is bigger, our inventory has grown with it, and the future is just as bright now as it was on my first day. Even taking into account all of the changes between 2013 and 2023, just as important is what has remained the same. Our commitment to quality parts and service, and culture of under-promising and over-delivering remains the same as it was since we first opened our doors.
April 2023 Salvage Arrivals
Last month, we also got some new aerial images of the yard. More importantly, we added four machines:
– Caterpillar D6R Dozer
– John Deere 570A Motor Grader
– New Holland LB75 Backhoe
– Ford 555 Backhoe
It seems like every ton of steel coming in was matched by pallets and trailer loads of parts going out:

If you’re following us on Facebook, I know that you’ve seen me warning: “These Parts WILL NOT Last Long.” I do not like to exaggerate, and our sales crew backed me up! Among hundreds of other orders, we had a few stand out: Ford 555 Backhoe Fuel Tanks are especially rare in good, original condition and we sold a gem. A Kubota M7040 Loaded Clutch Housing, and a Ford LB75 Rear Axle made the list. Most impressive was an order for Case 586G Forklift Parts: Loaded Cab with Fenders, Front Axle, and Complete Mast Assembly headed out last week!
